Fort Point is a National Historic Site, Museum, and Heritage Park situated
at the mouth of the LaHave River, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views
are as picturesque as when Champlain discovered the area in 1604. Our
community Museum interprets unique local history, from the native Mi'kmaq
culture to French and early European settlers, lighthouse heritage, and the
shipping and fishing industries of the area.
