The Australasian Journal of Herpetology is Australia's best known scientific journal dealing with reptiles, taxonomy and other matters of public importance. Over 40 issues have been published in hard copy since 2009 at an average rate of about 4 64 page issues per annum. Over 1,000 biological entities have been formally described and named in the first 11 years of this journal as well as numerous other important scientific works covering a wide range of disciplines within zoology.
