Jonathan Shaffer is a sociologist who studies global health organizations,
social movements, and the politics of the scientific knowledge they use. He
is currently a Hecht-Levi Postdoctoral Fellow in Global Infectious Disease
Ethics at the Johns Hopkins University Berman Institute of Bioethics & the
Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities at the University of Oxford.
