Professional video game developer with a background in gameplay programming and systems design (primarily with Unity 3D engine and C#, with a little bit of C/C++ personal projects experience). Spent the past decade working on multiple successful mobile, PC, and VR games. Familiar with F2P, Freemium, and Premium game markets. My indie beginning allows me to easily juggle between different roles on projects. Most notably, contributed to various mobile titles with millions of downloads (Pixel Fury, Craft IO) and best-selling card game Dawncaster. Love developing custom tools and frameworks. When things get tough, I always find a solution. Big open-source fan. Really good at googling things! Born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. Started fiddling with programming back in the middle school. Joined my first studio at 15 and since then never stopped working on games even for a single day. I love FPS, RPGs, card games, puzzles, adventures, story rich and especially experience type of games. Machinarium, Journey, GRIS, LIMBO, INSIDE, Little Nightmares and A LOT more inspire me to this day. Other favourites include: Witcher, Gwent, TES Skyrim, Telltale's Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead, Dishonored, Alan Wake, It Takes Two, Valiant Hearts and more! Once I get the vision of what I am working on, I can't stop. Challenges and complications come with each project, no matter what. Key is to remain calm, be patient and write code defensively. Make it loosely coupled, easy to tweak and modify. Search your problem a lot and find new ways to overcome it! Striking balance is necessary, I do not overlook technical debt but also won't let it paralyze my progress either. I like to keep my creative mind active, so when not programming I like to capture world around me, how I see it, practice calligraphy and go on motorcycle adventures, explore mountains and world beyond the beaten path.
