An exciting venture, many years in the making, the Baltimore Street Redevelopment Project was born from the need to replace the aging infrastructure beneath Baltimore Street. As the bricks on the Pedestrian Mall would need to be removed to address the infrastructure issues, a street plan was envisioned to concurrently reimagine the Mall by opening it up to one lane of slow-moving traffic and to reconfigure Baltimore Street into an open, safe and multi-functional space which can be easily modified to suit the need at any given time.
