TUM Asia (TUM Asia) commenced operations in Singapore in 2002 as an affiliate of the Technische Universität München (TUM). As the first German academic venture abroad, TUM Asia is supported by the Singapore Government through the Economic Development Board (EDB), and by the German Government through the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
