The Abu Zafar Institute of Medical Sciences (AZIMS) is the first private medical university in Pakistan. It is located in Karachi and was founded in 1996 by the Late Prof. Dr. Abu Zafar Ali Alvi. It is a private university which is affiliated to the Quaid-e-Azam University.
