Austin âAJâ Bachand, a California native, graduated from the Scrippâs College of Communication at Ohio University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication, Photojournalism.
He has done still photography as well as video production for publications in Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania before joining the Daily News-Record in February of 2015. He also completed an internship as a photojournalist for the Tribune-Review in Greensburg, Pa.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys watching and making movies.
