I recall the first time I read the information regarding The injury myself while sitting in the hospital bed after my motorbike accident. At that time all I knew was that my right arm was effectively hanging from my shoulder. I had no ability to control any part of it. I had no feeling or sensation in my right arm all the way from the neck to the fingertip. I was exceptionally concerned. Keep in mind it was approximately 6 weeks after my motorbike accident that Anybody even mentions the word brachial plexus. My right arm was in a cast as it had been operated on numerous times to insert titanium rods and fix the broken bones. I know I had at least three orthopaedic related surgeries on my right arm that were not related to the breakup plexus injury. It was only after having my arm operated on for the third occasion when we realised that I could not control My arm or feel anything. I had numerous nerve tests which effectively showed that I lost sensation from my neck to my fingertips on my right side. As you could imagine this was exceptionally worrying news. I was a right handed operator. My main passion was previously dj and music production, motorbike riding, and cyber security and IT in general. I obviously lost the ability to type with both hands. I also lost the ability to dj with both hands. Many many different things were taken from me In that moment. It was for that reason I decided that I wanted to learn to try to use what I was able to use. After trying and testing many different pieces of equipment, I have formulated this list and stated the intended usage and possible benefits of each unit.
