Community Bank is a Department of Defense owned banking program operated through a contract with a commercial financial institution. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, in coordination with the Military Service banking representatives, is responsible for the oversight and management of Community Bank. Community Bank has over 60 banking centers and nearly 300 ATMs in Germany, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Italy, Japan and Okinawa, Korea, Diego Garcia, Guantanamo Bay, Honduras, and Kwajalein Atoll.
