Prof. Niru Hazarika, former Dean Faculty of Arts, Gauhati University and Former Memebr of ICSSR, New Delhi served Gauhati University as teacher of Political Science for more than three decades. She started her service career as teacher in Political Science of Gauhati University and ended her career in it. She was also a student of this University.
